The breakfast was excellent, the staff were attentive and friendly, and the location right on the Weser was a dream; it was perfect for cyclists and we used it as a stop between Bremen and Bremerhaven.

The décor is lovingly crafted in a maritime style with local touches, the breakfast is good, and from the breakfast room you get a great view of the Weser.

We were greeted very warmly, and even though we arrived early we were allowed to go straight to our room, which was a blessing because I was severely ill and just wanted to sleep, which I could; the breakfast was nice, the location lovely, and the people were kind.

The atmosphere feels very personal, the place sits right on the Weser and has a great ambience; the host took good care of us and nothing was missing, so we gladly recommend it and will definitely return next time we’re in the area. Everything else was fine, the equipment was adequate, except for a slightly broken hinge on the wardrobe that we reported to the host, who promised to fix it, and there were no other complaints.

The location is fantastic, my room looked out over the Weser, the breakfast was high‑quality and the staff were genuinely friendly; I only stayed one night but will definitely come back.
