The place is close to the U.S. consulate. It’s very cold, and even though there’s heating, an extra blanket would have been nice. The kitchen is clean, but it feels like something’s missing.

It’s not a hotel, but there’s a kitchen, a microwave, a fridge, and basic utensils. The spot sits in a small subdivision with limited access, but it’s well‑situated for my needs. I didn’t need a car or even an Uber; the Juárez bus is a 10‑minute walk away. The only downside is that a washing machine would have been handy, though it doesn’t cost extra. I stayed for three weeks, which isn’t very common.
