I can't say anything positive because I was cancelled 12 hours before my arrival due to an unexpected overbooking, which is why the cancellation happened.

The bamboo bungalow was beautifully crafted, with a design that lets air circulate so the interior stays cool even in the harsh local heat.

The bamboo bungalow sits in a tranquil natural setting, perfect for slowing down and disconnecting; I even extended my stay because of the calm vibe. It’s not near the sea, so a motorbike is needed to get around, but that wasn’t an issue for me since I chose it for peace and privacy. The room was advertised as having a sea view, but trees now block it, so the listing should be updated. Curtains on the terrace would help block the afternoon sun. On day one I found ants on my clothes and suitcase despite having no food, but the reception responded immediately, gave me a spray, and the problem was quickly fixed. Overall, a lovely, quiet spot ideal for nature lovers who value silence over convenience.

The hilltop location is peaceful and centrally placed, away from the crowded beach areas. The bamboo huts are simple yet well decorated and spacious. Breakfast is tasty and cheap. It’s a great spot to relax with a book and hammock. No complaints—though the huts are close together, which could be an issue if neighbors were noisy, but everyone was considerate, so the atmosphere stayed calm.

At first glance it looks basic, but the design is surprisingly sophisticated with meticulous detail. I didn’t expect that. The hammock is the best in Thailand, and it’s cool at night with no serious mosquito or animal problems. The fan works well thanks to the open layout, and the fridge is a quiet plus. A scooter is needed, but once there, the place sits right in the middle of the island and close to everything.
