The bed was comfortable and the shower had solid pressure, while the air‑conditioning and TV worked without a hitch. The only drawback was the cleaning product smell – it was very strong and not pleasant.

We were greeted by a young woman who actually spoke English, which was a pleasant surprise in the interior of Bahia. Her warmth made us feel we’d chosen the right spot for a night before heading to the beach, and even though the hotel is pretty basic, the friendly staff and other guests created a great atmosphere. Breakfast was fine enough.

The newly renovated apartments were spotless and smelled fresh, and the owners seem eager to keep improving the place since it recently reopened. Although it’s a simple countryside setting, you can see the care they put into every detail and the staff were attentive throughout our stay.

There’s no mini‑fridge in the room, and the staircase to the upper floor is steep and feels unsafe. The kitchen that serves dinner and breakfast is tiny and gets uncomfortably hot.

The stay was decent overall; nothing stood out as a problem.
