Everything pleased us: the setting is fantastic, the pool area is magnificent, the rooms are large and comfortable with an authentic safari vibe, and the service and staff are probably the best we’ve met on our travels in India. Nothing else, just a small note for those who’ve stayed at African game lodges: the Indian environment—human encroachment, lack of litter awareness—means the reserve and game drive feel different.

Honestly amazing; we were upgraded, the place is extraordinary, the staff are very attentive, the pool is fantastic, everything is spotless, the décor is beautiful, the water room with bathtub and shower opens onto nature—top quality. The only downside might be that the staff are perhaps too attentive; we were the only guests that evening.

The old hunting lodge was upgraded to an excellent standard, with new cottages added that make you feel surrounded by nature in the National Park. Every bed was brand‑new and incredibly comfy, and the jungle‑view bathroom had plenty of hot water. The pool was spotless, and there were plenty of seating spots so you never felt cramped; each cottage also had a private terrace. The meals were freshly prepared, and my gluten intolerance was handled expertly. The manager, an experienced guide, knew exactly what we needed and took us on a walk through the lower hills to a reservoir where we saw many birds, plus we enjoyed safaris to see leopards and heard about tigers being reintroduced. I wouldn’t change a single thing.

The place is beautiful, the surroundings are tranquil, and the staff are friendly and professional. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and the manager kindly offered us an upgrade. Nothing else to add.
