This place is magical! Brian and the staff make it even more special! We saw so many dolphins while out kayaking and on the boat! Several sloths and beautiful plants! The food was spectacular and the beds super comfortable! Everything was perfect 😍

We were overwhelmed by Brian’s hospitality and his team. The Hideaway is beautiful (though very remote) in Dolphin Bay and we spent time kayaking and even swimming surrounded by dolphins, which was incredibly beautiful. We did have a lot of rain, but on the large terrace overlooking the bay, with delicious food and drinks and very interesting conversations with our host, we couldn’t have imagined a better place for tropical showers. Fascinating was also Brian’s walk with us through his forest, where he showed us many small colorful frogs up to sloths and you feel how much nature means to him. We felt less like in a hotel, more like guests at a friend’s, something we’ve never experienced on our travels. Many thanks!

The secluded location is a dream, the view of the quiet bay where you could see up to eight dolphins multiple times a day was indescribable. The property is a dream for nature and animal lovers: countless hummingbirds, colorful butterflies, poison dart frogs in many varieties, parrots, sloths, a caiman in the garden pond, an opossum, bats, geckos, lizards, and much more. The food is a poem – both in taste and in appearance. The highlight, however, is Brian, who created this place and is a fantastic host. The only downside was that we didn’t see the caiman “Spike” after we left…🤗

A unique spot off the tourist routes. Bryan and his team are exceptional hosts and the food is great (all local ingredients). Don’t miss the banana smoothie! Brian has a reforestation project with native plants that is not only unique in the world but he does it with his own means, without state help. I will definitely come back.
