The building is gorgeous, with every detail carefully tended. I would add more variety to the menu, even though everything is delicious, because there isn’t much choice; or introduce a daily special to surprise guests with something new.

The location in the historic center of a lovely old village is great. The breakfast fell far short of expectations: single‑portion jam, no toasted bread, and I asked for it but the next day I received a bag of yesterday’s bread. The tea was poured into a cappuccino cup instead of a teapot. The room is small, dark, with a tiny high window in the entrance—almost a skylight. The bathroom has no window. All of this for €70. I asked to switch to a room on the upper floor with a balcony; they said I’d have to add another €20. I stayed where I was.
