Comfortable room and good housekeeping, but the hotel staff wouldn’t refund me for the first night when my flight was delayed, even though I stayed the rest of the week.

“Top location and great design, but make other plans for food”

The staff were lovely and amazing, very friendly and helpful, and the location was incredible with so much life in this part of town. The rooms were really fun, with great design details and well‑equipped, plus minibar snacks as a bonus. However, the food options were so limited and not available at all times, a trend I’ve noticed in Marriott hotels where food seems low on the priority list. The pool had no refreshments, which is quite boring for such a great spot, and there was no place to sit in reception to wait for friends or a taxi.

The hotel had a good location, but the breakfast was poor for a place of this level, offering only three fixed options that would disappoint anyone used to a buffet. When I checked in, the hotel charged my card for the stay without telling me, and then charged the same amount again at checkout, which I had to negotiate with them for 30 days before receiving a refund. They could have at least warned me about the freeze, though I don’t understand why it was necessary.

“Overall great experience”

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was great, and the concierge and housekeeping were superb. The only downside was that the reception didn’t acknowledge my Marriott Bonvoy membership even though they advertise being part of the chain.
