The cleanliness was poor, there was little clarity about the conditions, and the rooms were very outdated.

Located in a lush Mediterranean setting, the Relais Leon d'Oro, a 19th-century country house, offers a tranquil retreat near Venice, with easy access to Padua, Vicenza, and Treviso. The hotel features a wellness centre with sauna, Turkish bath, and hydro-massage, as well as a garden for walks and outdoor activities like volleyball and bowls, within a few hours' drive to the Dolomites and coast.

The staff were excellent, which helped us when we didn’t know any Italian; they constantly made sure we were okay and were very friendly. The location is perfect – a short walk to the train station and then a 20‑minute ride into Venice centre for only $2. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with a well‑kept garden and great facilities. The little touches, like arranging a taxi to avoid overpaying on Uber and ordering us pizza when it was late, really made a difference. I genuinely can’t find anything negative about the place.

The pool and the kiosk beside it were great, and the staff were helpful. The air‑conditioning unit wouldn’t turn off.

The breakfast was excellent and the pool area was beautiful, complete with a snack kiosk. The location is great for heading to Venice. However, the air conditioning in the room was problematic because it couldn’t be turned off.

Set amid greenery, the property offers a pool and a park, and the family room is cozy with air conditioning. The building feels a bit dated and would benefit from some updates.
