The location and facilities were fine, but the staff were unfriendly and the bag of bread for the breakfast buffet was left half‑open on the entrance stairs at 6 am.

The hotel sits in a central spot within walking distance of the old town and the pedestrian zone, and the room was small but functional. Even though it’s close to the city center, it stayed quiet. You can get in 24 hours using a door code. The blinds were missing, so blackout was only possible with curtains, which didn’t work well. At night a group of drunken young men rattled the hallway, but that’s beyond the hotel’s control. By the time breakfast finished, the buffet had already been heavily depleted 45 minutes early. The scrambled eggs looked unappetizing, as if they’d been kept warm for hours; when I asked, they at least cooked one fresh egg. The coffee machine took forever to make a drink, and the sign said “descaling needed.” It seemed to have been that way for a while, judging by the slow, thin water flow; a line formed at the machine because only four other guests were in the breakfast room.

The staff were very friendly, but the breakfast felt a bit hectic.
