The room was really comfortable with all the amenities, and I loved the retro decor. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was no breakfast option available on a Sunday.

I loved the location, but the service staff outside the reception were really kind and warm. The room wasn’t very clean; we asked for a cleaning because we found socks from a previous guest under the bed, yet the socks stayed there. The elevators were always full since not all of them worked, and the room was smaller and less well maintained than the photos suggested.

The location was good, the beds were comfortable with excellent sheets and pillowcases. It wasn’t clear that a destination fee of 32 USD per night would be charged, and the staff were rude when explaining that. They charged a security deposit and the refund wasn’t returned within the promised time, forcing me to contact my bank to resolve the issue.

Everything was perfect: the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was spotless, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The hotel itself, its bar and lobby area, were chic and cozy, and the location was ideal, close to everything. I’d highly recommend it, even though I had to leave.

Great location, very central. Close to several train stations. Walking distance to the river, shopping district and restaurant, while being a quiet enough and safe area. Good sized bedroom, comfy bedding. Coffee was available in the lobby in the mornings.until 10am but it was annoying that there was no coffee machine or kettles in the rooms like in most hotels. Bathroom is poor in terms of space where you can put your things on. Would also appreciate an anti fog mirror and magnifying mirror. Unsurprisingly in Chicago, you can hear the trains, have earplugs you're sensitive to noise. My room was connected to the next room through a door, so I could hear everything
