We arrived at 13:30 and checked in at 14:15, yet the room still hadn’t been cleaned; the very polite receptionist noticed our sick child and moved us to another apartment. Even by 16:30 the cleaning was unfinished, so we had to leave for a different hotel—an unpleasant situation.

The seaside location was great and the receptionist was very helpful. However, the front door lock needed adjustment, which left the room door ajar; the beds were double instead of the advertised KING size, and the linens and towels were worn. The toilet seemed loose, the towel rack and toilet paper holder were nearly falling, trash cans lacked pedals, the mini‑fridge was rusted, the TV wasn’t centered and blocked by the wardrobe, and the kitchen items were old. The coffee price was higher than advertised.

Excellent spot right next to the Sal e Brasa grill, Cabo Branco bakery, and a short walk to the market—just 800 m from the sign. The flat feels a bit dated and the bed linens are worn, but it doesn’t bother the stay.
