The inn was very thoughtful; the night before I left they prepared a traditional foot‑soak tub for me, packed breakfast for my trip to the airport, even wrapped two extra portions of food I couldn’t eat, and the location was close to the bustling area and easy to hail a cab. The fire‑sprinkler kept flashing all night, so I had to wear an eye mask to sleep.

The room was lovely and the staff were great, and the location was excellent. It did feel a bit cramped in some spots, but overall they managed the space well.

The laundry service was a great perk, and there was nothing else that stood out as a problem.

I stayed in a junior suite with a balcony, the spot was quiet yet only a short walk to museums, the lake, markets, cafés, and a nice inner‑city park (all 20‑30 minutes away); the staff were attentive and kind—especially Fiona—plus laundry, a welcome cold drink, sweets in the room, a foot bath on the last night, support for the women craft artists in Huang, and a relaxed atmosphere. There was nothing negative.
