The staff were more than helpful, but the bedrooms were far from clean; the windows looked never cleaned, cobwebs surrounded them, and spiders were present, showing the cleaners weren't doing their job right.

The place was lovely, letting me enjoy peaceful countryside walks and surroundings; it was clean, well maintained, and the bed was huge and comfortable. The night porter was a charming guy, and I definitely recommend it. The only downside was that I expected bath gowns and a champagne in the fridge for that price, but overall there was nothing much to dislike.

I liked the location and the bar area was very friendly; the continental breakfast and the cooked breakfast were both good. The only issue was the bathroom: when I turned on the main light the extractor fan kicked on and kept making noise even after the light was off, making it hard to fall back asleep. A small night light would solve that.

The bar and restaurant staff were all young, super helpful and friendly, and the housekeeper was just as warm. But a big function overran the whole place, making it noisy and busy, and there was nowhere to escape, so we ended up eating in our room.
