Dany Island feels like a true remote‑island escape with a relaxed barefoot‑luxury vibe, the perfect spot to switch off, slow down, and unwind completely. Its eco‑friendly approach and history as a marine conservatory set it apart, and knowing the reefs and environment are protected makes the stay feel even more meaningful because your visit supports conservation rather than harming it. Peaceful, untouched, and beautifully simple—ideal for anyone seeking an off‑grid island experience in Vanuatu. Julien, the resort manager, and his team were exceptional, welcoming us warmly and doing everything to keep us comfortable; Julien is also an amazing chef. The only downside was that bath towels were only replaced every two days, and one day we had no beach towels left because there were no replacements, so we couldn’t reuse our soaked towels from the previous day’s activity. It wasn’t a big deal, so I didn’t bring it up to Julien, but I’m sure he would have handled it promptly.
