We loved the spot—just a 15‑minute walk to Rome’s city centre and close to all the embassies—and the hot tub was a bonus that the kids enjoyed, but the AC unit was noisy, the room had a strong perfume smell on entry, and it seemed to have been smoked in.

The spot was in a good location and had a huge bed, but the listing promised a hydromassage tub that didn’t work, the staff didn’t respond after we called, the AC was broken, the fridge cooling was faulty, and there were no cutlery or plates.

I liked most things overall; the place is very well organized, spotless, and the staff is friendly. It’s in a great spot, the area is quiet, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The room didn’t have air conditioning, only a noisy penguin unit for cooling, so I told the manager and he moved me to another room.
