The family was nice, the food cooked on site was good, the location was quiet, and the beach view was beautiful.
“Bella la vista mare ( ma solo quello)”
The room had a sea view. After the first night, the host mistakenly moved me to a less attractive room. Breakfast consisted only of juice, bread, eggs and fruit, which, compared to what we paid and the other places we stayed in Sri Lanka, was the worst.
“Uważajcie przy płatności !!!”
The hotel was neglected, yet we still had to pay extra to get a supposedly best room. There was no drinking water or glasses in the rooms, the bathroom door was replaced by a curtain, breakfast was mediocre, and the beach loungers were packed with boards. In the evenings, garbage—including plastic—was burned right by the hotel, giving us a view of not only the ocean but also a fire. At checkout, the owner overcharged the terminal, and we only discovered it when we checked our bank account. I contacted them and they promised a refund after providing bank details, but a month later no money had been returned. It was a poor experience that left a bad taste, especially since Sri Lanka was otherwise beautiful and other hotels had no issues.
The hotel was not operating, it ignored messages and calls, and my reservation was never cancelled.
“Excellent 💯❤️”
Everything was very clean and peaceful; the food was delicious; the owner and his wife were very kind and helpful; I would 100 % recommend it. The beach front and clean room were also great.
