Quiet spot by the lake, the scenery was gorgeous. The jungle vibe in the common areas was a nice touch, and the local shops were great—especially the flat white coffee you could grab on the go. My grandkids loved it too. On the downside, the kitchen could use a bit more dish soap, and for the price I paid, having to strip the beds and empty the bins felt a bit much.

We had a lovely family getaway at Center Parcs. The room was clean, roomy, and had all the basics. It was a relief that dogs were welcome. The grounds were stunning and well kept, and the staff were genuinely helpful. The only hiccups were the 10–15 minute walk to the water park and reception, plus the extra fees for most activities that added up fast. On the weekend the water park was packed, which made it hard to unwind.

The pool was a highlight, but the overall experience was a letdown. For €570 a night, I expected top‑notch service, yet there was no bedding when we arrived—just bare mattresses and towels in plastic bags. How can you charge that much and not provide sheets or pillowcases? It ruined the start of our weekend.
