The hotel is well‑situated for exploring the area. The bedding is good. The shower is a bit narrow.

Location is good and the manager’s welcome is appreciated. The TV is too small, poorly set up, and has few channels. There are no blinds, only curtains that don’t block the view well.

Old, wooden window that doesn’t close properly. The bed measures 140.

The hotel isn’t glamorous but doesn’t pretend to be. It’s easily accessible, a sensible choice for a layover night: close to the A12, in a commercial zone, with parking in front of the hotel. About twenty rooms, some accessible from the outside. Very clean and well maintained. The room is small, the bathroom is really tiny but has what’s needed, towels and soaps. Our mattress was very good; other guests said theirs was average, perhaps depending on the room. It was the end of a heatwave, there was a fan in the room, and the staff wisely didn’t put the duvet from the wardrobe on us. We slept with the window open, and traffic on the nearby roundabout was not too heavy. The breakfast room is small; it gets cramped quickly, but the buffet is consistently stocked in small portions. The only staff member we saw (reception and breakfast) is friendly and conscientious. The shower size may be an issue for a larger person.
