“Seems ok”
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my visit. They kindly held my luggage before letting me check in early at around 12 PM, which I greatly appreciated. The breakfast was delicious and suited my taste, and the rooftop dining area offered a lovely view and pleasant atmosphere. A few things that may not necessarily be negatives but are worth noting for future guests: there was only one power socket that I could conveniently use, while the others were designed for local plugs. The bathroom uses a bidet attachment instead of a handheld water hose. The hotel does not have a gym or swimming pool. There is only one main guest lift, although there are two additional lifts that provide convenient access to the parking area. The view from my room was average. Overall, the hotel has friendly staff, a satisfying breakfast, and a beautiful rooftop dining experience. However, improvements in guest communication, noise control, smoking policy enforcement, room maintenance, and investigating possible pest‑related issues would significantly improve the overall guest experience. There are, however, several areas that could be improved. Prior to my arrival, the property did not respond to my messages. Noise was also a major issue during my stay. Children were making noise around midnight, and later at approximately 2.30 AM, adults were chatting loudly outside my room. I could also hear heavy objects being dragged nearby, which made it difficult to rest. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep well on one of the nights because I heard scratching and movement noises coming from the ceiling that sounded very much like a rat or other small animal. While I could not confirm what it was, it was loud enough to disturb my sleep and should be investigated by the hotel. Although the hotel appears to have non‑smoking areas, people were smoking quite frequently in common areas. During my travels in Indonesia, I have encountered this issue in several places, but I believe the hotel could do more to enforce its non‑smoking policy, as guests should not have to be exposed to second‑hand smoke. The TV remote control in my room was not responsive, so I ended up not using the television most of the time. My towel had an unpleasant smell. Complimentary bottled water was not provided in the room, although the hotel does provide a water dispenser for guests, which is appreciated.
