“Haben uns leider nicht wohl gefühlt”

Henry is really great and the location is also superb. Because everything was booked, we had to stay in a different (worse) room on the first night. They pretended everything was as booked. When we asked, partly because the room was dirty and just rundown, we were allowed to switch the next day. Unfortunately the whole place is really old and dirty. Even though Henry took care of us, we didn’t feel entirely comfortable and neither the host nor the host addressed giving us compensation for the first night. I’m really disappointed.

The location was excellent. Simple but clean and tidy room. The guy from Ghana who handled breakfast and cleaned the rooms was very friendly and service‑oriented. The host (owner?) didn’t seem particularly helpful. When we asked questions we felt like a nuisance. As seasoned travelers we didn’t think his service met the standard. Some problems getting into the place, complicated locks and a key that suddenly stopped working. The room safe didn’t work; we were told guests often don’t understand how it works?? Spartan breakfast.
