We booked through Morocco Sahara Desert Activities, but upon arrival the accommodation was switched to Merzouga Luxury Camp instead of the original place, which was unexpected and disappointing because we had a specific experience in mind; the last‑minute change was frustrating and the communication and organization were poor. The staff were always ready to help and very friendly, but remember that transport to the tents (both ways) and the air‑conditioning are paid separately, which isn’t clearly stated in the description, and cash payment is required.

All staff were helpful and we loved the location right on the edge of the dunes; the deluxe tents were a good size and very comfortable. Breakfast and evening meals were good quality, plentiful, and tasty. Highly recommend this experience!

The tents are beautiful and tastefully decorated. The air conditioning, which costs an extra 50 euros, wasn’t necessary because they provide a fan that works fine. Dinner was served very well and breakfast was also good. The music at night was a bit annoying, and the neighboring campsites play the same tunes, creating a confusing mix of sounds.
