“Ok for one night.”
The place sits right on a convenient spot, a short walk to downtown SLO and only a 7‑minute drive to CalPoly. The rooms come with a fridge and microwave, though not every single one has them. The mattress is surprisingly good and the pillows are just okay. The owner is very nice. However, the property is quite old and needs upgrades everywhere—curtains, bedspreads, carpet, outlets, you name it. Even though the cleaning is thorough, the visible wear and tear leaves a less than ideal first impression. It’s acceptable for a single night and cheaper than most other motels nearby.
