The hotel was clean and in excellent condition despite its age, the breakfast spread was extensive with a great selection even if you arrive late, the dinner was almost Michelin‑level, the wellness area inside the hotel and the attached wellness center looked good, and the massage and beauty offerings were very attractive; the staff were professional and friendly. The only downside was that breakfast started at 08:00, which isn’t ideal for day‑trippers, and shopping was only available outside, for example in Spiegelau.
