The place was adorable and the donkeys outside added a huge fun factor, but I was shocked to discover during booking that the bathroom isn’t a standard one. Some might find that cute, but we didn’t want to lug around poop bags. The listing also claimed everything was on one level, which isn’t true for me as I have limited mobility. Getting inside was a nightmare: a step with risers twice the height of a normal stair led up to the yard, and the entrance step was dangerously low and not even secured, so you could slip between the gaps. The loft bed was accessed by a pull‑out ladder that was awkward to position, and the whole place was overly cluttered, making it look almost clean but not quite.

Christophe, the owner, was super kind and helpful; we came for Pairi Daiza but had no car, and he arranged transport to the park. Thank you so much, Christophe! The yurt itself was cozy and pleasant, and I would have liked to stay longer. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful. The donkeys—Casimir, Lola, Bonaventura, and Samedi—were our yurt neighbors, very social and adorable. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer.

“Mooi verblijf, maar met minpunten”

The countryside was great, and the donkeys really enhanced our stay. The toilet was disappointing: if you go at night and don't sit properly with your head on the pillow, you get a sharp point in your backside. Also, access to the site isn't ideal—you have to walk up a nature trail to the tent. The steps are quite high and slanted, so for anyone with mobility issues or a wheelchair, it's not recommended. Plus, you have to walk through the woods with no lighting, so you end up in complete darkness heading to your tent. The terrace also lacks lighting, which is a pity because there's a nice covered terrace.

We were greeted very warmly by Héléna, who instantly introduced us to the donkeys and gave us a tour of the yoert. The yoert sits nicely in an orchard surrounded by four little donkeys, fully green and peaceful. Our four‑year‑old son was mesmerized by the animals. The yoert matches the photos, is fully equipped with comforts, and provided a pleasant, wonderful experience—highly recommended!

“Sfeervolle ervaring”

Staying in a yurt set in a natural “French” landscape was a delight, and we even got to feed our four donkeys the carrots we brought. The hostess was very attentive and friendly, and every promise they made was kept. There’s really nothing to complain about, although the compost toilet caught us off guard—it combined charming old furniture with a new bed‑frame, and was basic yet clean.
