“تجربة سيئة جدا”
Only late check‑out was allowed, and their attempt to partially compensate for the very bad experience failed, though the view of the garden was good. Cleanliness was an issue: a spider in the corners, dust on the wardrobe shelves, small ants, no space to pull water in the bathroom, no bath slippers, no rug on the floor, making movement between the room and bathroom repeatedly dirty. The bathroom: the door was broken and not sealed, no repair mechanism, no space to pull water, no bath slippers, no ventilation window, no exhaust fan, hot water was not always available, no soap or shampoo, the shower head was broken. They tried to blame me for the breakage and ignored all other comments, and there was no bathtub as mentioned. Air conditioning was weak, positioned poorly so it didn’t distribute air correctly, and there was no remote. The room was smaller than advertised, no kettle, no tea or sugar supplies, and they didn’t provide them even after the stay ended. There were no hangers or a column to hang clothes, and no hose in the wardrobe to hang clothes outside. Breakfast was not available even though it was included in the booking. The location was close to tourist sites with a good view, but Uber couldn’t reach it because of narrow streets and the entrance; all Uber rides were cancelled, forcing us to leave and re-enter by tuk‑tuk. The area smelled of horse manure and its waste everywhere. The terrace was small but acceptable, with only one table and chair, even though the booking was for two adults and a child. Staff member A. Ahmed was polite about basic matters but offered no help. When I asked for a room change, he insisted there were no alternatives, even though a new booking with the same options was available on Booking, indicating the hotel’s policy towards guests, especially Egyptians. The overall experience was very bad; I will not stay here again.
