“Lieu authentique”
The spot is perfect, the room feels authentic, and breakfast is decent for the price. The breakfast feels more industrial, but it’s acceptable given the room rate.

Nestled in a renovated 100‑year‑old building, HI Évora – Pousada de Juventude sits in the heart of Évora’s historic centre, steps from Praça do Giraldo, the Chapel of Bones, Cathedral and Roman Temple. Each room features a private bathroom, with some offering a seating area, and free Wi‑Fi throughout. A 24‑hour front desk assists guests; nearby restaurants and transport links enhance convenience.

The location is convenient to Evora’s main sights, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and there’s a public square in front where you can have a drink, ice cream, or light fare. The top‑floor patio offered nice views, and the common areas were comfortable. The room was tiny and the beds were super uncomfortable—like sleeping on a bed of pinecones—and we couldn’t have tolerated more than one night. The building was wrapped in scaffolding, so the fact that our window faced the neighboring building didn’t really matter.

The location is very good! The infrastructure is old and needs renovation.

The location and access to the center are great. There is no fridge.

The location is good and the people are friendly. The soundproofing is poor; we woke up to church bells or people shouting on the street. The facilities are mediocre and need some work; the staff are adequate.
