Breakfast offered both savory and sweet options, but there were too few choices and the portions were too small – we had breakfast at 9:30 am, yet the savory items were missing and the sweet side was insufficient for a proper breakfast.

The cottage was completely immersed in nature among animals and olive trees, dinner was served outdoors in a courtyard lit by a thousand lights, creating a wonderful atmosphere; the small room was well cared for, and from the skylight you could admire the starry sky. No complaints.

We stayed one night to see Castel del Monte. The property is okay, though it sometimes feels like its best days are behind it. The attic room is tiny, and breakfast is fairly modest.

Suite size. Proximity to Castel del Monte. Good food albeit being a bit pricey. Overall a good stop over. Spa facilities advertised but not available
