The hotel is a good starting point for trips around Tuscany, but the breakfast was very modest, and the rooms stayed warm at night, never cooling down.

Mw. Livonia is a kind old farmer who does her best for guests; every morning she serves bruschetta with tomatoes at breakfast and usually has something baked; Mr. Leonello, despite his age, still offers hand and span services; the farm is the type of “old and full of things to see,” which I like; there is a fridge in the room (something the previous B&B didn’t have). The stay is a quiet farm, the machines are rusting and dreaming of better days, the owners are elderly and what you see on the site is often no longer applicable; the B&B is shabby; our bed was old, the pool was out of use (only frogs use it), the pizza oven hasn’t been used for years; the TV in the room worked but didn’t show any picture (though HDMI could get a picture); dinner isn’t possible, only Italian is spoken; there is no air conditioning in the building, just fans on the nightstand; it’s a shame that a site like this isn’t better monitored.

The place is nice, people are friendly, but unfortunately the kitchen is closed… only for those who want to stay.
