The apartment is very large with a huge terrace and sea view. There are two separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the floor, so the snoring from one room isn’t heard in the other :) The room by the balcony has two beds and a view of the terrace and sea. The apartment looks better in person than in the photos. There are several beaches nearby; a taxi to the town costs 10 euros one way. Unfortunately, without a car it can be hard; we thought the beach was closer, but the walk up to it drained all our energy because the house sits on a high hill (about 30 minutes on foot). Every day the temperature reached 40 degrees (which isn’t really a drawback of the apartment because the air‑conditioning saved us in the heat) and those long walks were very tiring. I was also surprised to see a new building erected in front of the house that blocks almost the entire terrace view, the mountains, and only a sliver of sea is visible… it’s supposedly to be demolished, but the photos on Booking don’t show it, and that view was why I chose this apartment. Still, it was a very nice place to stay with family and everyone remembers it fondly.

The quiet apartments on the ground floor are cozy, with a good, honest host who speaks English fluently. The sea view and warm August water are great. Free access to three nearby beaches below the apartments is available; those who want paid loungers and umbrellas can pay 15 euros. A narrow path from the apartments leads straight to a secluded quiet beach with minimal people (ask the owner for directions). Those who like a busy beach can go to one of the three nearby public beaches. Near the apartments, if you drive to the town, supermarkets (Aroma, Voli, Idea) are available for all cooking needs. The town’s promenade has kebab shops, pizzerias, souvenir stalls, and more. You can walk, dine, or have ice cream in the evening. Prices are tolerable: bread 1.5 euros, cucumbers and tomatoes about 1.5 euros, fruit 2.5 euros (nectarines, peaches, grapes). Some furniture and interior items are outdated and should be replaced. The electric stove needs replacement; the oven and one stove don’t work properly, though the other stoves function normally. It takes a long walk to the sea if you’re on foot, and the heat or limited mobility can make it difficult. We drove to the beach because the climb to the apartments is steep.
