We only stayed one night, so there wasn’t much time to soak up the place, yet the owners were incredibly kind and welcoming; I doubt anyone could have a bad stay here. The building and its street give a true taste of everyday life in Lipari, and everything we needed was in the room and bathroom. If you’re not after luxury, it’s a lovely, simple, and peaceful option.

The room and flat were really nice, but in the morning cars are allowed on the street, so it gets very noisy.

The apartment’s location was awesome—right between the big and small harbours, with supermarkets nearby. We happened to have the whole place to ourselves, so the host gave us one of the nicer rooms even though we hadn’t booked it. The host was very nice and the stay was hassle‑free. Unfortunately the room was extremely hot; even with the AC it kept getting very warm. We tried sleeping with the door open to let in cool night air, but because the apartment is in the city centre it’s very loud. Bring earplugs to sleep comfortably.
