The mattresses were very comfortable, the ambience and staff were great, the food was delicious, and for that price the accommodation was excellent. I have no complaints.

We stayed while driving from Austria to Croatia. It was great that it was right on the highway, a real bonus. We booked at 19:00 and arrived at 23:00. Everything went smoothly; we were told a room would be waiting for us and it was. Clean and tidy for a highway stop at that price, nothing more to expect. No problems at all.

We only stayed overnight, no breakfast. The bed was comfortable, quiet at night even though it’s next to the street. A good point is its proximity to the Ljubljana‑Zagreb road, handy if you’re just stopping for a night and a rest before the next leg, like we were. The room was large but the bed took up most of the space, making movement difficult, especially when carrying bags. The separate hallway at the room entrance was dark, so we had to light it with our phone to insert the key into the lock. There was no soap in the bathroom, so we used shower gels. At check‑in they insisted on communicating in English (which wasn’t a problem, just pointless), even though Slovenian‑Serbian is perfectly understood, but after a while they switched back to their own language.

The host was the friendliest; definitely a place to come back to.
