The location was close enough to the beach to avoid the crowds unless I chose to be, and the complimentary breakfast was awesome, but I wish the bathroom had been more modern with a walk‑in shower.

People around the swimming pool were very attentive, especially at night when they had drinks, though that was the only positive I could find.

The staff was friendly and the place was actually nice and comfortable, but the breakfast left something to be desired—no grits and only sausage patties, plus we had an unwanted guest in our bathroom and roaches that needed spraying.
