The place offers great value with two comfy beds and two bathrooms, and the hosts are friendly. The downside is that it’s right next to the railway tracks, so there’s a lot of noise, and there’s no hot water tap.

It’s a great deal for the money and the property is large. The only issue is that it’s on the train rails, so it can get noisy, but otherwise the location is excellent.

The owners are really kind and helpful, the house is clean and has the basic comforts for a few days. The kitchen is poorly equipped for cooking, and the place is next to the tracks, so you’ll need earplugs.

The accommodation is spacious, with two rooms and a large living room that has ceiling fans, plus hangers in each room. I started in a smaller room because the other was occupied, but they let me switch to a larger one later that had a private bathroom and a big, comfortable bed. The smaller room is also quite roomy and has a comfy bed. I spent most of my stay alone. The family is very helpful and welcoming, offering pancakes, roti, home‑grown bananas, and a bicycle when needed. Their sons speak English, so communication was easy. You can buy water there. The downside is that it gets hot on the second floor with no AC; the fans help a bit but it can be warm during the day. They have a small AC unit that was broken when I stayed, so once it’s fixed it won’t be a big issue. The house is noisy because it’s next to the train trail, which starts at 5am, so earplugs are a must. The place also needs a bit more cleaning, especially the bathroom surfaces.
