The room was roomy, comfy, and quiet, but there was no parking available.

A charming old coaching inn on the main high street, well maintained with friendly staff and dog‑friendly policy. No parking, but a large public car park is nearby.

The town is lovely and the pub is perfectly situated.

The staff were very accommodating, especially after we mentioned we had a baby, offering us an upgrade to a larger room and a bath, which was a big help. Parking isn’t ideal, but it isn’t the hotel’s fault.
