“The staff Doreen and Nicholas make up for any shortcomings!”

Masindi was a great place to stay; Doreen and Nicholas were wonderful hosts, and tours for chimpanzee trekking, Kiwa Rhino Sanctuary, and Murchison Falls safaris were easy to book. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean, but the restaurant next to the backpackers was overpriced and mediocre; there was no other option, so ask what’s missing first and avoid burgers because they’re poorly made. Wifi was spotty, working best by the pool, not in the rooms, and the bathrooms were a short walk from the rooms. The pool was available for 20,000 UXG.

Friendly staff and a good price, plus the option to use the neighboring hotel’s swimming pool for an extra fee. My room was very convenient and I even received a free upgrade because the private room was complimentary. Sunday evening featured a live band that created a great atmosphere and attracted many guests. However, the hotel is quite far from town, which makes food options inconvenient and the food itself isn’t that good. The bathrooms are located far from the rooms, which isn’t ideal in the dark, although the place is secure with a gate and security. Wifi was unreliable; if you need to work, you have to go into town to the Masindi hotel. Next time I’ll choose a different place.

“Luidruchtig, verder prima prijs kwaliteit”

Nice staff and a warm welcome. It’s great that you can use the facilities (pool/restaurant) of the lodge next door. The location is beside a busy road, the rooms are noisy, you can literally hear the neighboring rooms, and loud music from across the street continues until 07.00 a.m. (the accommodation can’t control this, and it may only happen on holidays or weekends).

“Soggiorno piacevole , consigliato!!”

The place is surrounded by greenery in a good spot! Nicolas is very friendly and helpful, served as my driver and guide during the safari, and is very knowledgeable! The bathrooms are a bit far from the room.
