“Not the place it was”
The location was good, but it was too dark. I was hoping to meet the lovely English owner, who had been a great host during my visits two years ago.

The restaurant’s food was great and the owners—Jerreh Maneh, Petero Neil and W. Putt—were extremely friendly, making us feel right at home. Nadag.

The rooms were spacious, but the management had changed, which made the place feel less welcoming than when the European owner ran it; the constant flow of guests made it feel overcrowded.

The property now looks like a mess, whereas it used to be a very nice place. It also feels too dark.

We loved the location, the really comfortable bed, the fabulous food, friendly staff, gorgeous dog, and the birds—everything was nearly perfect. The shower was a problem: at best you got a dribble of water, at worst none at all.
