The hotel is average. It’s tucked deep in a street with very few stores and is close to some temples. The front‑desk staff and service are below expectations and seem very laid back. I stayed at a hotel in one Niman and the service there was exceptional compared to this more expensive place.

The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the place stayed spotless throughout our 3‑night stay. We had a do‑not‑disturb sign because of safety concerns while traveling, and every day we returned to fresh toilet paper and bottled water at the door. The only downside was the breakfast menu, which was decent for curry lovers but not great overall.

The location is fantastic in the old city, right next to excellent restaurants and cafés. The complimentary afternoon tea is simply amazing.

The hotel and room were clean, and most staff were friendly and helpful. Check‑in and check‑out times were reasonable at 12 noon and 2 pm. There are plenty of vegan restaurants nearby, but no small stores like 7‑11. The swimming pool is tiny and only suitable for children.

The rooms were spacious and well‑arranged. However, the hot water was broken for two evenings and they didn’t fix it, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this type and price.
