Nothing good. The place was dirty, no elevator, very old and poorly maintained. The bathtub was scuffed and almost unusable. Breakfast was low quality, and we were told at check‑in that bread isn’t served for breakfast.

Good breakfast and staff. The room was small, the view was lacking, and overall the property looked run down.

We could only check in at 8:00 am because the ferry to Nanaimo had failed overnight. The receptionist was kind enough to let us keep the room until 12:00 pm so we could get a few extra hours of sleep. The room was very well equipped.

The place sits just a short walk from Maffeo Sutton Park, the Waterfront, and downtown. The staff were very friendly, and the towels were super soft and fluffy. The building feels a bit old, and the room cleaning was only average.
