Breakfast was pretty limited – only scrambled eggs were on the buffet, while omelettes and fried eggs cost extra. Vegetables were almost non‑existent, so the spread felt far below what you’d expect in Austria.
“It was Excellent”
The five‑course dinners were lovely, with two mains and a veggie option each night. The salad buffet was excellent, followed by a small starter, soup, and pudding – the presentation was top‑notch and portions were just right. The spa had great views, and the bean‑bag couches were a treat after skiing. The hotel’s close to ski lifts and the staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient – this was my second stay.
The place is in a great spot close to the lift, and the atmosphere inside is nice. Dinner is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The only downside is that the breakfast and salad buffet could use a bit more variety.
“Enttäuschend”
The hotel sits in a nice area and the lift is close by, plus the dinner is decent. However, the staff can be a bit brusque and there are a lot of rules. The breakfast is small and gets boring quickly, not great for a lively start to the day. The price is cheap, but the hotel offers little – robes and safes cost extra, and the room keys are left unattended at the front desk, making the ski‑locker insecure.
The location, view, and dinner are all great, and you can even invite non‑guests to dinner for a fee. On the downside, there’s a €2 daily charge for bathrobes in the wellness area, and espresso or latte macchiato at breakfast are extra – only filtered coffee is included. The breakfast selection is limited, and the tap water that’s free at breakfast costs €3.60 per liter in the evenings.
