Breakfast and the big communal bath were both excellent, but the cleaning service advertised as free on the first and second floors turned out to only include a free dryer, while laundry itself cost extra, which I found confusing and misleading.

The place offered good value and was spotless, with fully automated luggage storage that let me drop off and pick up bags any time without worrying about weight or quantity, and the security felt solid; although check‑in was unmanned, staff were always present and helped a lot. I enjoyed the generous welcome drinks, the alcohol selection, the on‑site hot spring and the ever‑changing breakfast each morning, making for a wonderful stay. The only hassle was having to collect a new hot‑spring password each day when I stayed multiple nights, and it would have been helpful to see that information on the room TV.
The breakfast was very complete and the Olsen (??) and staff were friendly, but the pillows were quite uncomfortable, the carpeted room looked dirty, the space felt too humid and poorly ventilated, and the bed was small and a bit awkward.

The staff were friendly, the large public bath was great and the rooms were well‑soundproofed; the drink bar was a nice touch and it was good to have alcohol available, though I would have loved to see beer on offer.
