“Dodgy area, didn't even stay where I booked”
I never actually checked in. The place was a mess: no signs, no house number, all lights off, and the front garden was littered with needles, syringes, and a strong weed odor. It felt unsafe, so I went to the back and still couldn't find a check‑in spot. The host finally appeared after I waited 20 minutes outside in the dark, and he said he’d take me somewhere else. I felt uneasy as a solo woman, so I turned on my location for my family. He drove me 10‑15 minutes to a different guest house, didn’t ask my name or give any check‑out or breakfast info, just handed me a key. The room was basic, the bathroom had damage, and overall it was a stressful experience. We were notified the night it happened and haven’t received a proper investigation or refund. Do not recommend this place or host.
