The breakfast and location were good, but everything shows that this hotel needs an update: the rooms are aging, items are broken or crooked.

Perched on floors 79‑93 of Shanghai World Financial Centre, Park Hyatt Shanghai offers panoramic city, Huangpu River, and Bund views. Located in Lujiazui, it sits beside Super Brand Mall and Oriental Pearl Tower, within 500 m of Line 2 subway. Guests enjoy a sky‑high spa, 8 gourmet restaurants, an indoor pool, and 24‑hour room service.

The hotel’s location is magnificent, with stunning views from the windows. Breakfast at 5 o’clock comes with a spectacular view. There’s a nice café at reception where you can drink coffee or tea and watch Shanghai from a bird‑eye perspective. It’s quiet, and the staff are attentive. Around the area are many great restaurants and viewpoints. Inside the hotel, rooms V1 and V2 have many little restaurants (noodle shop, famous pelmeni, a grocery store with various trinkets). A shopping mall with global brands is nearby. If you’re visiting Shanghai, you’ll definitely stay here. The only downside for me was the lack of power outlets next to the bed; there was an outlet only on one side. Everything else was magnificent.

Breakfasts were a highlight – a wide variety and a great view of the TV tower. The massage service was a nice touch and the price was reasonable.

Everything was beautiful – it's one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The service, rooms, everything just felt top‑notch.

We had an amazing stay at Park Hyatt Shanghai. The height, design, and location are obvious, but what really set it apart was the personal care from the staff. Lucas handled our passport and cash mishap with calm professionalism, kept us updated, even covered transport costs while we were away. Another team member helped us buy train tickets late at night and explained everything clearly. The only downside? We had to leave because the vacation was over.
