The services were excellent and the building beautiful. I couldn’t adjust the jacuzzi temperature, and I’d suggest a slightly later checkout time.

This place is truly wonderful. The apartment was very cozy, with a seating area outside, and the pool was open while the jacuzzi was available. The view of the sea, Rapallo, and Portofino was great. Breakfast was very nice, and the interior design was lovely. The hosts were very friendly at breakfast. Some people complained about the drive up from Rapallo; it is indeed on a narrow street with many turns, so a navigation system helps to find the right entrance from Rapallo. But it’s definitely doable with a normal small or mid‑size car, and it’s 100 % worth what you get for it.

The view is outstanding, the room is well decorated, spacious, and the bedding is excellent. The hosts greet you exceptionally; they speak French and English, not fluently but enough to understand each other, and they listen attentively, always offering a kind word and a smile. The path to the residence is extremely steep and winding, and the parking is on a slope in front of the building, forcing you to climb even higher to turn around and head back into town. Driving down takes about 20 to 25 minutes, and two cars cannot pass each other. Inside the residence, there are many stone steps to reach the room or the pool. The magnificent view is worth it, but it might be useful to note that access is difficult for anyone with even mild mobility issues, such as knee or ankle problems.

The stay was fantastic, but you have to be careful when climbing the mountains. The house sits very high, so it's best to be home before midnight.
