The location was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. The apartment suited our group of seven nicely. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends and would happily stay there again.
“Rude staff diminished our experience”
The room was nicely furnished and had good safety doors. However, there was mildew in the bathroom shower and the floors were dirty. The staff’s body language and careless attitude made it feel like they didn’t want to help and that my concerns were an imposition on their time. I approached the front desk staff at hotel Nationale (property manager) about a room safe that wouldn’t open (with valuables inside), how to call airport transport, and it seemed like no one cared to help me. They looked away quickly, returned to their tasks, and brushed the issue off to other staff. No eye contact, no concern. They also lied to us at check‑in about extra towels (told we could ask for anything at check‑in with no charge, and when we asked after seeing the room, they said we would be charged). I would never stay here again or recommend it. There are many other places more hospitable to take my business.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is excellent, and the apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Check-in and check-out were both very easy and convenient. The host was very helpful and even arranged a taxi for us. Everything went smoothly, and we had a great experience. We would definitely recommend this place!
“Fantastic location and spacious apartment.”
The apartment is spacious and in a fantastic location, close to many restaurants and only a few minutes’ walk from the Pantheon. I felt very secure being opposite the Italian government building with military police stationed outside all the time. The downside was that they charged €5 for toilet paper when we were only given two rolls over four nights. I know from previous reviews that apartments are only given a starter pack, but it’s part of the Nazionale Hotel and surely providing a couple of extra rolls to guests in the apartments isn’t too hard. It just felt very stingy.
