A beautiful park and historic buildings, with very friendly staff. The decor could use a serious refresh; the bar and main building sofas are dirty and don’t match the level of the place.

Walking back to MesaStila after 10 years felt walking back to a fairy tale place, where you wish to come back again and again. The estate is so authentic and beautiful in each single detail and the settings are just breathtaking. Nature is at its best and the staff is friendly and professional. A dream come true to go back!

The villa we chose had an amazing mountain view, and when the sky was clear the balcony offered a beautiful sight. The interior kept its heritage charm while providing all modern comforts, and we especially liked the outdoor shower. Every meal was top quality, and breakfast allowed us to pick as many items as we wanted. Dinner was adequate, given there’s only one restaurant, and the Asian dishes were excellent. Free afternoon tea was a nice touch, and the kids loved the daily variety. The estate’s grounds were pleasant, with great mountain views on clear days and surrounded by coffee plantations. The Turkish baths were lovely and definitely worth a try. On the downside, the lounge bar was under renovation and there was no alternative venue for evenings except the restaurant and our villa, which was disappointing given the hotel’s many underused spaces. The clubhouse, full of furniture, could easily serve as a lounge bar and game room, yet it’s only an office for staff during the day, missing a chance to use this beautiful space. Excursions and spa services were pricey; we would have taken more tours and used the spa more often if the prices were more competitive.
