Everything was perfect! The room was divine, tastefully decorated, bathed in natural light, with a very comfortable bed and ample storage space. The Wi‑Fi connection was excellent. The bathroom had enough space for all personal items. Joan’s personalized service was spectacular, her breakfasts were exquisite, and the house was very lovely; we felt great at all times. Highly recommended!

Getting to the town centre was a short walk and parking was on site. The room was fully serviced and the dining room for breakfast was lovely. The shower had great water pressure and the room and bathroom were large. The food served was delicious and came with a continental breakfast option. Extra biscuits, lollies, and tea/coffee making facilities were provided. Everything was up to a high standard. Wi‑Fi was a bit patchy where we were, but that might have been our settings. Lovely stay with Joan.

The room was well appointed and clean, though small. The breakfast was excellent. We didn’t feel welcomed; on arrival everything felt formulaic: checking our names, ensuring we filled out forms for the next day’s breakfast, etc. It wasn’t the friendly welcome one usually gets at B&Bs. We struggled with our cases and hand luggage up the stairs while the hostess simply watched. If she was physically unable to help, it would have been nice if she had acknowledged that.

An extremely comfortable room (and bed) that was spotlessly clean, a delicious breakfast, all in a perfect location (a few minutes walk to downtown). And most of all, a host and hostess who make your stay enjoyable. We highly recommend that you stay at Culliss House with Joan and Bobby! Nothing negative.
