“agréable”
The location was good. There was no hot water several times, it was very noisy until 23:30, and the bedding was average.

Hostal Sa Prensa, a family‑run guest house, sits 20 m from Platja Gran beach in quiet Ciutadella. Its bright rooms feature pastel décor, tiled floors, private baths, and some balconies overlooking the bay. A garden terrace offers Mediterranean views, free Wi‑Fi, and a snack bar with local tapas. The historic centre is a 7‑minute walk.

The quiet location and very friendly staff were nice. I couldn’t have breakfast because the restaurant only opens at 12 h, there’s no coffee machine available, so I had to walk 1 km to get a coffee from 7:30 h, even though I’m a very early riser at 4 a.m.; that’s a long wait for my first cup.

It was very close to the sea and the room had a balcony, which is great. There was no breakfast, so we had to go far for it. I don’t think it’s right that the hostel was left unattended all day except for the cleaner. No issues arose, but if there had been, who would we have spoken to?

Great location, a nice sea terrace, and good value for money considering Minorca’s prices, but it could use a folding rack or other gear to dry beach towels, and a kettle for coffee or tea since the bar/restaurant opens at 12:00.

The location and the terrace for meals were good. The shower curtain was dirty, which is a negative.
