The place is well situated, a short walk to the beach, restaurants, souvenir shops, and the moais. Claudio and his family gave excellent service, helping and listening to our needs. The hostel needs general upkeep; the shower in the bathroom clogged and overflowed. The room was spacious and comfortable, yet we found dirt in the closet, on the sheets, and on the floor. The window couldn't close. It would help if the hostel set kitchen cleaning rules for guests; we saw accumulated trash.

The host was very helpful, even before arrival he reminded us to bring the documents needed to enter the island. The view from our room was amazing, and everything was close by—restaurants, natural pools, and Ahu Tahai, where the sunset is wonderful.

The hosts were super friendly, always there to help and share tips. The place sits quietly outside the village yet is within walking distance of everything, and the sea view is a real bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed, so cooking was easy.
