Zoola hotel San Pedro La Laguna

The hotel’s location is nice—just outside the center, everything within walking distance. The gentleman at reception was friendly and spoke good English. The pool with a view is great, though the water is very refreshing. The beds are incredibly hard and the room is very noisy. The window frame was loose, so we had to tighten it ourselves. The shower was a safety hazard with a soft spray and a risk of electric shock from poorly wired connections; we reported this to reception, but nothing was done despite a promise.

“Great pool, restaurant and excellent breakfast.”

The pool, restaurant, and breakfast are definitely the highlights of this hotel. The rooms are poorly designed and contain many broken items. The room lacks hanging space, the beds had a very small doona for the bed size, and the shower was appalling—just a trickle of water. The last photo shows the view from our room, which is very unappealing.

“Buena ubicación”

The restaurant and pool are great, and the location is quite good. Breakfast was fairly complete. The shower had no hot water on the first day, and on the second day they tried to fix it but it was only slightly warmer. It feels half-renovated, but the bathrooms still need improvement. That bathtub should be removed!

Beautiful restaurant, pool, and social area. I was very surprised by the room overall. The only critique is the mattress; everything else scores 10 points.

Breakfast, common areas, and lake views are amazing. The hotel is a bit hidden and requires a short walk, but it’s worth it. The rooms are comfortable, not very spacious, but the value for money is incomparable. The mattresses might not be the most comfortable, but that’s a minor detail.
